How to play
Reach the target
Every level has a target score. Long words and combos from consecutive finds push your score up quickly.
Enter a duel
In Word Duel both players get an identical board and race for 90 seconds. Scores update live; whoever leads when time runs out wins.
Key features
A 36,413-word Turkish dictionary
The dictionary was built using the open-source Zemberek natural language processing library together with word frequency data. It contains only single, unhyphenated words of 3–10 letters made up of Turkish characters.
Real-time duels
Use Quick Match to be paired with a random opponent online, or challenge a player you know with their invite code. If they are offline, open an async match instead: each of you plays your own 90 seconds whenever you like. At the end of a match you can ask for a rematch.
Board of the Day
Every day everyone gets the same board. A special mode played once a day, where the whole player base solves one identical puzzle.
Levels and progression
Advance level by level in single player. The difficulty curve gradually increases both the board size and the target score.
Daily quests and achievements
Quests that refresh each day, login streaks, statistics and unlockable achievements. Spend the coins you earn on avatars.
Dark and light themes
Forty-seven player avatars, a hint system, and a dark/light theme you can switch with one tap. The game is played in portrait orientation.

Privacy and security
An account is not required to play WordDuel; we do not ask for your name, email address or location. Your game progress is stored on your device — if you want to carry it to a new device you can optionally sign in with Google Play Games and back it up to the cloud. Data collected by the third-party services used for online features such as duels, friends and leaderboards, and for advertising, is listed in detail in our privacy policy.
